Our engaged and hardworking team.
Hi! I am a 13 year old who lives in Piedmont California. This year will be my second year in FTC, and I am very excited. Last year, I joined because a friend invited me. I never really thought that I would become as involved as I am now. The team didn’t have a workspace to meet in, so I talked to my parents, and we ended up hosting a get-together robotics session each week in our garage. By the end of the year, I loved robotics, and wanted to do more, even though I wasn’t really enjoying the team dynamic. I asked my parents if I could form a completely new team, with fewer members and more meetings. After discussing this more, they agreed. I have been enjoying the smaller team, because people feel more obligated to take initiative on things, such as CAD and organization.

Hello! I am a 13 year old resident of Piedmont California. This is my first year in FTC, and I was invited to join by Simeon. I did FLL last year though, and this was the next step even though everyone on this team except Noah is different from the FLL team I was on last year. Last year was my first year of FLL or any kind of robotics, and I found I loved robotics. I especially like the engineering aspect of robotics and working with other people to solve problems. Some other things that I like to do are reading, playing lacrosse, and solving Rubik’s Cubes, and especially reading. I am looking forward to participating in FTC this year.
I am 13 and live in Piedmont California, this is my first time doing FTC but I have done FLL. My first year of FLL was in 2017, then I did it again 2018 with Siddarth, My last year of FLL was in 2019 with Gus. I am a hands-on guy and am good at CAD. I also like to build models and I am into cars. When I am older I would like to go to Cal and study Business and Engineering to create my dream car company called Cosmos.
My name is Siddharth, and I am an freshman. I did FTC last year, so this is my second time. Last year, I wasn’t planning on doing FTC, but I fell in love and I’m back! I’m excited this season for a smaller, more focused team, and I think I will be working mostly on the software side of things, although I also love driving.
